Held to standards as high those Karl holds for himself, apprentices redefine their limitations — both physical and philosophical — as they embark on a hard-core journey of intensive learning, self–discipline and self-discovery.

Alumna:
From 2010 until 2016, Unnasch held an intensive Summer Apprenticeship program for young adults at the Studio at Pilot Mound.
This program produced a select handful of graduates:
